Today our  Uganda teaching project volunteers are reluctantly leaving Uganda for the journey back to the UK. Louise, Phoebe and Joanne have had 4 weeks living in Africa helping develop schools in the local community.

All of our volunteers have thoroughly enjoyed their experience and feel they have gained plenty from the trip.  Joanne said “The experience has been incredible; I’m actually annoyed with myself for not doing something like this sooner”. All of our volunteers are keen to return back to Africa next year, Louise said “I’ve met so many amazing people here and I want to stay longer, I will definitely be returning”. Phoebe will be starting a degree in Development in September.

Below we have 2 short videos of Joanne and Louise telling you a bit about their trip to Uganda and what you could gain from joining out short term project next year.

If volunteering with VMM is something you might be interested in, we have short term
projects starting next summer which you can sign up for today! Or if you wanted to work in Africa long term (1 year+) we have positions available immediately here.
